Ellen

Rothstein

Ellen Brody

Ellen Rothstein, aka Ellen Brody, is an artist, and she has lived a creatively rich life. Her mother was an artist, which left a significant impression on the way Ellen sees the world. Ellen’s first body of work, abstract paintings with transparent thin layers that incorporated drawing, were produced while living in Paris during her college years. After graduating U.C. Berkeley, her oil paintings were exhibited in galleries, exhibitions and as part of corporate collections. In later years, she worked in watercolor and then discovered the digital world of painting. Her digital designs have been inspired by stained glass, harkening back to her formative years in Paris. She continues to view the world from a color-focused visual perspective.
